GBS ZERO IN AUSTRALIA.......

In February 2011 we shipped a complete GBS Zero kit out to Australia to Terry Dale who is one of our GBS dealers in Australia. Terry and his team have enjoyed building their Zero and are now really pleased to be able to drive it, as last week they started it up and went for a spin in it for the very first time.
Also GBS Customer Bill Rees who collected his GBS Zero kit from us earlier this month has sent us some photographs. He is making great progress with his build which he is enjoying very much, along with his 2 boys Alex and Ben who have been helping with the build.

On Saturday 22nd December we would like to invite you all to the GBS Showroom for drinks, mince pie and a chat between 10am - 2pm to say thank you for all your support this year. The GBS Showroom is open Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm and most Saturdays unless we are at a show or competing or at a Track Day. GBS HAD A GREAT WEEKEND AT THE CLASSIC MOTOR SHOW.........

The GBS team were exhibiting at the Classic Motor Show 2012 at the NEC Birmingham at the weekend. Where the new factory built GBS Zero GT was on display, it was a great weekend we look forward to being their again next year! The next show GBS will be exhibiting at is the International Auto Sport Show at the NEC Birmingham in January. More photographs of the new GBS Zero GT demonstrator coming soon.

Great British Sports Cars now offer a full IVA service for all cars not only the GBS Zero. The GBS workshop team perform a pre-IVA inspection, complete any required work/alterations, transportation to the IVA test centre in Nottingham as well as all the paperwork that is required before/after the test. THE NEW GBS ZERO DEMONSTRATOR......

GBS CUSTOMER ORDERS SECOND ZERO KIT......

GBS Customer Sam Evans came to see us last week and placed an order for his second GBS Zero kit. Sam collected his first Zero kit from us in August last year, which he enjoyed building very much but has now decided its time to build another Zero and one that will be slightly different! Sam has given us his new Engine that we will be fitting for him to a special custom race chassis that we are designing and manufacturing for him. The engine is a Honda S2000 that will be producing around 280bhp this should prove to be one of the quickest GBS Zero's to date. We all look forward to seeing the finished car and seeing how it performs on the road and track.

GBS ZERO GOES ON THE ROLLING ROAD.........

A few weeks ago GBS Customer Steve Parker took his newly registered GBS GSXR1000 Zero to the dyno down at JEBs Performance Engineering Nr. Banbury. The car made a healthy 150bhp @ 11500rpm at the wheels!
Steve bought his Zero kit from us in December last year, he had a slightly different Zero to the standard Zero from GBS. As it was using a Suzuki GSXR1000cc K4, it had a specially modified chassis enabling the Engine to be specifically built into the chassis as a stressed unit along with all the gear linkage and transmission, Taylor-made stainless steel exhaust 4-1 manifold, a lowered sump which gives an improved ground clearance over standard and baffled to prevent oil surge both manufactured in house by GBS. Steve is now enjoying his Zero on the Road and is looking forward to joining us on some Track Days soon.
