THE GBS ZERO SEE'S THE OLYMPIC TORCH.............

This morning the Olympic Torch passed the GBS Factory on its route through to Nottingham. We took the GBS Zero demonstrator out into the village and joined the crowds as the Olympic Touch went past, the GBS Zero also attracted a lot of attention! Yesterday GBS customer Mr Sands came to GBS to collect his Robin Hood 2b from us that the GBS workshop team have built. John bought his 2B kit many years ago to build himself, but has never full filled his dream. John was very pleased to come and collect his 2B and is looking forward to enjoying it on the road and already has many trips planned, including joining us on a Track Day at Blyton Park on Sunday 29th July. Everyone is welcome to come along, if your not taking part your welcome to Spectate or be a passenger in our Zero demonstrator. GBS & KIT SPARES HAD A GREAT WEEKEND AT NEWARK KIT CAR SHOW........

 Both Great British Sports Cars and Kit Spares had a very busy and successful weekend at Newark Kit Car Show, it was a great weekend with alot of interest in the Zero. On the stand we had a range of GBS Zero cars,  2 of which were GBS customer builds by Trevor Jackman and David Tough who we would like to say a big thank you for letting us display your cars at the show. It was also great to see all the Robin Hood and Zero owners on the members stand outside many of which were camping! Again it was a very impressive turn out.

Last week GBS Customer Philip Game and his wife came to collect his GBS Zero that we prepared and put through its IVA test for him. His Zero was all registered and ready for him to drive away. Philip is now looking forward to enjoying the rest of the Summer with his Zero and joining us on a few Track Days/ Sprints throughout the year.

FACTORY BUILT GBS ZERO IN FRANCE......

Last month Keith Bird one of the GBS Directors and our new technician Raphael Garel  set off from GBS to deliver the first factory built GBS Zero for our new dealer in France. The factory built GBS Zero was LHD with a 2L Zetec Engine, GBS Plenum, GBS Water Rail, Gaz Shocks, Team Dynamics Pro Race wheels and Yokohama Tyres, Rear Diffuser, GRP Dash with Smith Instruments, Full weather gear set. The Zero has been attracting a lot of attention and is performing very well both on the track and on the road in France.

Great British Sports Cars attended The Nottingham Motor Show at Wollaton Park on 3rd & 4th June where they had a great weekend with a lot of interest in the Zeros and many test drives booked.

Last week we had Pat Lynchehaun come from Dublin to collect his GBS Zero Kit, we also had Rob Hawkins from Kit Car magazine come and visit us at the GBS Factory, where we took a standard and GT Zero out for a test drive and photoshoot which will be featured in the next issue of Kit Car Magazine.
